The AW-500 Series revives a famous model from the past.

The AW-500 now making a comeback emerged as the first analog-digital combination G-Shock model in 1989, turning on its head the preconceived notion that analog watches were susceptible to shock due to their delicate hands, gears and other parts. Not only has the original color been recreated from when this model first went on sale, but in addition to the basic Stopwatch, Dual Time and Alarm features, it is also fitted with practical features including EL backlight and a battery with seven years' life.

 Following numerous past reissues and collaboration models, this is a revival of a G-Shock classic.
